Making “The World’s Ugliest Sandal” Culturally Relevant

KEEN

In 2022, ALLY was commissioned to make Portland-based shoe staple KEEN culturally relevant. Transitioning from an "outdoor" to an "outside" brand, KEEN tasked us with building strategic relationships with tastemakers and trendsetters to connect with a new, fashion-forward audience through strategic seeding and paid collaborations.

We collaborate with creators who positively impact the world through community, creativity, and cultural relevance such as partnerships with photographer Brian Chorski. Our seeding and collaboration relationships span a diverse group, including sustainable living advocates, stylists, photographers, social entrepreneurs, and musician trendsetters, such as Toro y Moi, as we aim to create authentic ties with the brand.
